Little One Snug – Babywearing Consultancy & Sling Library 

I'm a fully trained/qualified and insured Babywearing Consultant with a sling library based in Hastings. (You can always ask to see my certifications.) I regularly work with families both locally and living in East Sussex towns -offering studio sessions and Home visits, to help them carry their little one(s), not only safely, but comfortably too. Seeking professional support can be so valuable, you'll always see my passion come through, as well as knowledge: whether you’d like to hire a sling from the library, so you can try before you buy your carrier (highly recommended as they can be quite the investment), or book a 1-to-1 fit-check session (as small tweaks really can make the world of difference!), you can also have a more in-depth consultation to learn a new skill(s) or combine a few things . Areas I cover for home visits include, but are not limited to: Fairlight, Pett Icklesham, Winchelsea, Rye,  St Leonards-on-sea, Bexhill, Battle, Crowborough, Eastbourne and even Polegate.   My appointment types can be tailored to suit your exact needs. My sling library has wraps, ring slings, half buckles, buckle carriers and more (and while I do have well-known brands available, I support many consultant-engaged brands, that are likely less on your radar). (Although there are some carriers I'd actively avoid) The best sling from brands that are loved by the babywearing community, will be the one that fits baby safely and you're both comfy in, plus you can use by yourself with ease. Since becoming a Mum and then a Babywearing Consultant I've tried a a big range carriers and seen lots on different people - so understand what works for different body types/ why; if you're not loving something and can pinpoint why I will be able to suggest a range of different slings that have features that will counteract the issue, and hopefully you'lll enjoy more! Only 4 years ago I was a new parent, and very new to babywearing. I struggled with it, until someone suggested seeking support / moving on from a stretchy wrap to a woven, which I loved the idea of. And after loving what I learnt, and what a key part wrapping had in my parenting journey, I soon wanted to help others. So I later decided to train with Slingababy and Carrying Matters (and since continually involve myself with CPD sessions) to ensure my knowledge is kept up to date,  and to be able to offer parents support safely. Soon after training I set up Little One Snug (Sling Library and Consultancy) and started off doing small local pop-ups to build word-of-mouth / trust in the community - and will forever be thankful to the local businesses who helped me on my way – Tots Play Bexhill, Breastmates. Glow Baby, Spun Glass Theatre, Wise Mamas,  Expectant Escapes, Moat Breastfeeding Support, and Latched on Eastbourne. Since my helping my first customers, I’ve kept going and growing, to the point where I'm now seeing a number of parents each week - which I'm super proud of!​​​! And the rest as they say is history!
